Speaker:And now, this week's episode.
Speaker:A question I saw on a Facebook group the other day
Speaker:was one that I see online quite a bit,
Speaker:and that's how many ads should you have
Speaker:in your podcast episode?
Speaker:And while there's no general rule on this,
Speaker:you don't want to overload your listeners with ads.
Speaker:So what I tend to do is make sure there's about 15 to 20 minutes between each ad.
Speaker:So if you've got an hour long episode, you probably have 3 to 4 ads in there.
Speaker:One might be your pre-roll, then 15 minutes later you'd have a mid-roll,
Speaker:then at 30 minutes another mid-roll, and at 45 minutes another mid-roll,
Speaker:and then a post-roll to close it out with your outro.
Speaker:If your episode is shorter, you can play it by ear.
Speaker:But generally I think a good compromise is no more than one ad every 15 minutes.
Speaker:Until next time, happy podcasting.
