Speaker:And now, this week's episode.
Speaker:When it comes to your podcast website,
Speaker:how many apps should you have on there?
Speaker:After all, making it easy for listeners to follow your show
Speaker:helps it grow,
Speaker:and having podcast apps on your website makes it easier to follow on these apps.
Speaker:So how many should you have on there and which ones?
Speaker:Generally I go for less is more.
Speaker:So maybe two or three podcast apps and the RSS feed.
Speaker:And because they're the two most popular podcast apps,
Speaker:Apple Podcasts and Spotify would be my two choices.
Speaker:If I was to use a third app, I'd look at my analytics
Speaker:and see which one's been listened to.
Speaker:So it may be Pocket Casts, GoodPods, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music,
Speaker:whichever one's the most popular after Apple and Spotify, I may put that up as well.
Speaker:The reason for keeping the apps to just two or three is to a) avoid clutter and b) confusion.
Speaker:And that's where the RSS feed comes in.
Speaker:If a listener doesn't listen on Apple or Spotify, they can use the RSS feed and add it to their own preferred app.
Speaker:Keep it simple, keep it easy to listen.
Speaker:Until the next time, happy podcasting.
Speaker:[applause]
