If you listen to the outro of this podcast, you'll hear that I mention it by name, with the call to action being "If you enjoy One Minute Podcast Tips, be sure to share with your friends" instead of saying something like "if you enjoy this podcast, be sure to share with your friends".
It's the same when I talk about the show online, I use the full name as opposed to my podcast.
And there's a simple reason for this: branding and recall. If someone's asking for recommendations about podcasts or searching for new ones, you don't want the recommendation to be "that podcast by Danny" or "that podcast by your name". Instead, you want the first thing that comes to mind, the actual name of the show.
So by continuously using the full name when someone's asking for recommendations for new shows on a certain niche, the name of your show will be top of mind as opposed to your name and that you have a podcast. A slight shift in approach, but one that makes a big difference. Until the next time, happy podcasting.
