Why Headphones Are the Most Important Podcast Gear
When it comes to podcast equipment, a lot of the discussions are usually around mics, or interfaces, or software, etc. For some reason, you rarely see headphones mentioned, and yet they're probably the most underrated piece of equipment around.

When it comes to podcast equipment, a lot of the discussions are usually around mics or interfaces or software or other tools, but for some reason you rarely see headphones mentioned, and yet they're probably the most underrated piece of equipment around. During editing, you can pick out the tiny details you'd otherwise miss, including where the mix might need improvement. So I always recommend a good pair of headphones when it comes to podcasting, and to make sure they're monitor headphones with a neutral sound.
or example. I use the Sony MDR:Thanks for listening. If you enjoy One Minute Podcast Tips, be sure to share with your friends and other podcasters so they can enjoy it too.
Until the next time, happy podcasting.
