Speaker:And now, this week's episode.
Speaker:With the news that Apple Podcasts
Speaker:will now support individual episode artwork
Speaker:when iOS 17 is released in September,
Speaker:a lot of podcasters are now asking
Speaker:should they use individual episode artwork.
Speaker:And much like anything, there's a pro and con to each.
Speaker:The biggest pro is it helps your episodes
Speaker:stand out on podcast apps,
Speaker:which is great for something like movie podcasts,
Speaker:for example, where you include the movie title,
Speaker:artwork, and more.
Speaker:Or if you have an interview podcast,
Speaker:you can use an image of your guest.
Speaker:However, the pro can also lead to the con.
Speaker:And that con is it can dilute your podcast brand as well.
Speaker:So if listeners are used to seeing your logo or artwork
Speaker:for your overall podcast and you start to use individual episode artwork,
Speaker:then it can be confusing for them.
Speaker:Unless your branding is really strong and it still comes through on the episode artwork when using that.
Speaker:So it's one of these questions that there's no real right or wrong answer,
Speaker:and if you think it's going to affect your podcast branding.
Speaker:Until the next time, happy podcasting.
