Danny:If you host a podcast with guests involved, it can sometimes be hard trying to find guests.
Danny:The good news is, there's a few ways you can actually find guests for your show. The The first one is to use online platforms like podcastguest.com or PodMatch, where you can create a profile to appear as a guest to go on other shows or as a podcaster looking for guests to connect with you.
Danny:These platforms are fine but sometimes the guest pitches can be nothing more than spam and not right for your podcast.
Danny:My preferred option is to reach out to people directly who you want to appear on your show.
Danny:You can be following them on social media or listening to their podcast or just connected with them online.
Danny:Reach out and let them know that you'd love to have them on your podcast and what's the best way to connect. Keep it nice, keep it friendly and make sure that your podcast is right for the kind of topics they talk about, which will ensure a better experience for everyone.
Danny:And we'll talk more about being a great podcast host in another episode. Until the next time, happy podcasting.
Danny:Thanks for listening. If you're enjoying One Minute Podcast Tips, be sure to leave a 5 star rating or review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify and help others find the show too.
Danny:Until next time, happy podcasting.
